The Biodiversity in Denmark is under pressure. In particular, drainage and intensive farming, urban expansion and the building of infrastructure create increased pressure on nature and all its species.

The Impact of pesticides in our nature rises and threatens both ground water, the wildlife and wild plants that we have taken for granted.

European forests are spreading at a pace only seen twice before in the past 10,000 years – except in Denmark, which holds the European record in least wild nature.
